Want to know some Unknown Space Facts, We are here for you. Today in trendzy facts we will tell you about some universe facts which are most interesting but lesser-known.

So, Let's start our journey to the universe.

1. There are approximately more than 1,600 volcanoes on Venus. The height of the highest volcano is 8 km and it is named Maat Mons.

2. You know about the existence of Black Holes. But do you know about the White Holes?

According to scientists, White Holes do exist just like Black Holes.

A White Hole is basically defined as the hypothetical region of space-time in which objects are not able to enter from outside.

Matter and light are the only two things that can escape from White Holes.

3. The escape velocity of earth is 11.2 km/s, you all know this!

But do you know the velocity required to escape from our own galaxy i.e. Milky Way galaxy!!

The escape velocity for Milky Way galaxy is 317,000 m/s. This is just only 1000 times less than the speed of light.

4. A neutron star is the densest object in the whole universe. Its density is whooping in the order of 1017 kg/m3

A teaspoon full of a neutron star will weigh around a billion tones. It is denser than the nucleus of an atom.

5. Uranus is tilted at 97.77 degrees on its axis. Due to this tilt, a season on Uranus is equivalent to 21 Earth years.

In fact, this tilt has impacted on the duration of the day which is just 17 hours, 14 minutes, and 24 seconds.

6. Triton is the only large moon that orbits its planet, Neptune in a backward direction.

This way of orbiting is known as retrograde orbit. Currently, researchers are not able to explain this unusual behavior of Triton.

7. Do you know the largest manned object ever sent into space?

It's ISS!!

The International Space Station (ISS) located roughly above 400 km above the earth and it is currently the third brightest object in the night.

8. It would take you approximately 258 days to drive around Saturn's ring if you drive at a speed of 75 miles per hour.

9. Titan - The home of Oil Fields

Saturn's moon Titan has approximately 300 times more fuel than the total known oil reserves in the world.

10. Our naked eye can see only about 3 to 7 different galaxies from Earth.

We can see Andromeda Galaxy (M-31), the Triangulum Galaxy (M-33), the Omega Centauri, the Sagittarius Dwarf Spheroidal Galaxy, and our own Milky Way Galaxy.

11. There is no noise in space. Space is totally silent.

This is due to the fact, that there is no air in space which helps in carrying the vibrations from one place to another.

12. Saturn is the only planet in our solar system that can float in water.

Although it is the second largest in size, its density is one-eighth to that of Earth.

13. Sunset on our Earth appears reddish in color because of the fact that red light is dispersed less during its propagation through Earth's atmosphere because of its longer wavelength.

But

Sunset on Mars appears blue in color because Mars has less than 1% of Earth's atmosphere. Just imagine, How beautiful would be a bluish Sunset?

14. There is an asteroid named 433 Eros which contains 10,000 to 1,00,000 times more gold and platinum than the total gold that has been mined on the Earth.

15. The spin rate of Neuton stars can be up to 600 rotations per second. Have you ever imagined anything fast than that ??
